I’d love to share my creations with you and pass along the experience it took me 15 years to gain. Join along with my passion and enthusiasm for making simple wholesome meals for yourself and your family.
A Little About Me:
By day I work tech support for a major technology company and by night I make a mess in the kitchen.
I learned to cook from my mom and started out as her sous chef for family dinners.
I started asking my parents for professional cookbooks from culinary schools for Christmas and my birthday each year. (I’ve got an entire bookshelf dedicated to them.)
Using cookbook texts and cooking shows, I continued to practice and work on perfecting my skills while experimenting with new foods.
I chose to get a degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business from Colorado State University. Not surprisingly, my favorite classes were Food Science and Food Labs. My dream is to go to culinary school some day.
I continued cooking for myself, in restaurants, and then for my husband. Now that that includes my two kids, ages 2 and 4, I’ve mastered a mean peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
You can follow along with current happenings in my life and updates on the fun things I’m doing around Austin, TX, where I live with my 2 kids, husband, and mom on the Happenings page.
