How to make this slow cooker applesauce recipe
Slow cooker chunky applesauce is super simple to throw together. Plus, you'll get that wonderful home-made taste that is a reward all by itself.
- Start by peeling the apples and adding them to the slow cooker and toss in the sugars, cinnamon, lemon juice, and spiced apple cider.
- Stir that all together and cook on low for 3-4 hours. You can leave chunks of apples if you like, or use an emulsifier or blender to make it a bit smoother.

Ingredients
- 3 lbs red apples
- 3 lbs green apples
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 large lemon
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice all apples.
- Add apples, cider, lemon juice, sugars, and cinnamon to the slow-cooker.
- Stir this all together.
- Set the slow-cooker on low to 4 hours. Stop cooking after 3 hours.
